"Isaplast” Ltd was established in 1994 as a successor of the department “Plastic Welding and Metal Paste Technology” of the Institute of Welding-Sofia.

Until 2006 the firm was led by Dipl. Ing. Kiril Aleksiev, known for his 40 years of experience in plastic welding as well as publications and work in the field. Since March 2006  the firm is led by two partners- eng.  Borislav Aleksandrov Georgiev and eng.  Aneta Pencheva Peeva. Each of the two partners has more than 25 years of experience in the field, which makes “Isaplast” Ltd. the only company in the country specialized both practically and theoretically. Both partners are members of the Bulgarian 

Welding Society which is recognized by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and the European Welding Federation (EWF)

The two Partners are certified for teaching and grading in the Education Center for European Welders, part of the Institute of Welding-Sofia.

Since 2004 Isaplast Ltd has been working in close relationships with “Herz” Germany, a world leader in heat treatment of plastics and member of the  Chamber of Crafts in Koblenz, Germany
